Post Wedding Photoshoot - aka "Cherish the dress", "Trash the dress" or "Rock the Frock"

The wedding has come and gone and you are now relaxed. A post-wedding shoot is a chance to get some more pictures of you in your wedding outfit without the pressures and time restrictions of the wedding day schedule. You may like a fashion style session or a romantic shoot. Maybe you'd like to be a bit more daring and possibly go to an unusual location for more interesting images. Of course you could always have a mixture. As you can see from taking a look at the variety of pictures in my Post Wedding Portfolio, you don't have to wade into a lake, etc. - it's completely up to you.

Commonly known as 'Trash the Dress' I have heard it also referred to as 'A True Romance' shoot, 'Cherish the Dress' or 'Rock the Frock". I simply call it a post-wedding shoot because that's exactly what it is, and it should be whatever you want it to be.

Depending on the type of pictures you would like, the shoot can take place with the bride alone, or as a couple, at locations that are special to you or maybe back nearer the venue of your wedding. I can also help you with some suggestions.

Prices : A session is £95 and will last approx 2-3 hours (an additional mileage fee will apply for locations more than 30 miles away from Ruislip). An 8"x12" mounted print is included.

I offer a 20% discount on the session price if I was your Wedding Photographer.

Please contact me for a full price list, which includes options for prints, wall art and images on DVD.

FAQ

Q. Will my dress get damaged?

A. Not unless you really want it to, as the locations we use are up to you. Surprisingly, I've never 'trashed' a dress that couldn't be dry-cleaned.

Q. How long after our wedding can I/we have a post wedding photoshoot?

A. It is up you, there is no time limit.

Q. What if it rains on my post wedding shoot?

A. Rain can make some interesting images, but if rain is forecast it is best to reschedule.

Q. Can I/we bring more than one outfit each?

A. Yes, you don't have to wear a wedding outfit for the whole photoshoot.
